Here’s a fun game. It seems like every time I glance at a wrestling blog and scroll a few times to see if I want to follow them, I either see the person who runs the blog say, or they’re reblogging someone else saying that girls don’t actually like pro wrestling.
Like, what does it mean to …
Hopefully we’ve never been guilty of this. We try and have an open mind policy in effect at all times on DT, to the point I tease
that he’s gonna be “that guy what works with that overbearing bitch”. But basically, my friends, if you think posting on a wrestling blog about how ladies don’t like wrestling or they’re just in it because the guys are hot or how women don’t know a lariat from a Suplex because girls r dum hee hee, you’re an asshole. Even better: if you say ANYONE isn’t a real fan for any reason, you’re an asshole and ought to feel bad. About everything.
I’m a VERY new wrestling fan, so I don’t know much. I don’t know the name of all the moves and such, but I’m learning and want to learn EVERYTHING! So I’d love if other fans were just like, “Hey! We’ll teach you everything” instead of “She doesn’t belong here”. And that goes for any and all fandoms. Everyone has to start somewhere! (and it shouldn’t matter if I have boobs and happen to be straight and find the some men attractive)
